This edict bestows three beautifying characters to the name of a deity; it was issued on the 22nd day of the 3rd month of the 1st year of the reign of Lê Mẫn Đế (黎愍帝).

Date notes:
The non-Gregorian dates on these materials refer to the manner in which days were counted from the beginning of the emperor’s rule. For example, an item from CE 1638 also bears the date 4-5-25, which means the document was written on the 25th day of the 5th month of the 4th year of Lê Thần Tông, the emperor who ruled during the Dương Hòa era.
